Assistant Director (Executive Level 1) - Two Vacancies

Location: Canberra and Sydney

We are currently recruiting two Assistant Directors to join the Commission, in our Canberra and Sydney office. Assistant Directors manage targeted projects in important policy and program areas contributing to the effectiveness and efficiency of the mental health system.

Director (Executive Level 2) - Two Vacancies

Location: Canberra and Sydney

We are currently recruiting two Directors to join the Commission, in our Canberra and Sydney office. Directors provide a high level of advice to the Executive as well as coordinating and assuming responsibility for highly complex or sensitive projects or work programs that have strategic, political and/or operational significance. This role is responsible for influencing and developing strategies, policies, priorities and operational practices in support of the Commission's objectives.

Project Support Officer (APS 6) – National Workplace Initiative

Temporary employment opportunities

We maintain a register of interested candidates for temporary roles in our Sydney or Canberra offices. Positions may be related to mental health policy, communications and corporate services. Opportunities may be offered for varying periods up to 18 months with a possibility of extension up to three years.
