Clinical Psychologist for NSW Police Force

Abbey is a psychologist who is passionate about improving the lives of people with mental ill-health, their families and the surrounding community. Her background is working in a community mental health team, providing assessment and intervention for those experiencing acute and chronic conditions. She is passionate about assisting first responders, and recently commenced work with the New South Wales Police Force with the view to improve the mental health of officers.
Abbey believes that progression in the mental health and prevention and management sphere is not only about attending to effective clinical processes, but learning from the lived experiences of people and acknowledging the complexity and uniqueness of mental health.
