Aisling Blackmore
Project Manager at the National Disability Insurance Agency

Aisling works at the National Disability Insurance Agency as the Project Manager with the national mental health team. Her work focuses on the transition of people with psychosocial disability, and supporting the National Mental Health Sector Reference Group. She has been a volunteer and member with Australian Red Cross since 2010 where she has held leadership roles at state, national, and international levels, and volunteered in services for people experiencing homelessness, newly arrived migrants and refugees, and peer-to-peer harm minimization education. Aisling has completed a B.A. (Hons) and M.A. (Research) in History.
Aisling is committed to the practical application of design thinking to the development and implementation of programs, resources, and policy throughout her roles. She is particularly passionate about removing barriers to participation in the community for people with mental ill-health and helping people to develop the confidence and skills to talk about mental health in a supportive and respectful way.
