Hayley Venables
Project Manager in Financial Services and beyondblue speaker
Hayley is a Project Manager working in Financial Services. She grew up in regional NSW and comes from a long line of farmers. She is passionate about the power of connectivity and conversations in regional communities, and ensuring that support is available for our most vulnerable and isolated Australians. She is a member of the beyondblue speakers bureau and speaks about her lived experience with mental health at community events, workplaces, and functions, encouraging others to start the conversation, break down the stigma, and know where to turn for support.
She applied for the Fellowship to better her understanding of the broad range of issues and concerns surrounding mental health in Australia. Hayley also aims to develop her skills in guiding people, communities and organisations in conversations for better mental health. In her spare time Hayley likes to spend time with her family, husband, and British Bulldog Monty.
