Taylor Johnstone
Youth mental health ambassador with lived experience

Taylor is passionate about improving the mental health of young people. After experiencing suicidal thoughts in his teenage years, Taylor is now looking to use his experience to improve the mental health of others. His aim is to reduce the impact of mental health issues such as suicide on young people, specifically young men and boys.
Taylor is currently studying Osteopathy and is interested in the relationship between physical, social and mental health, and hopes to implement early intervention programs that address these issues. He recently commenced a role on the board of Youth Live4Life and is also a member of the Youth Research Council at Orygen.
Taylor is honoured to have been selected for the Fellowship and believes that he will increase his skills to further influence change regarding the mental health attitudes and behaviours of young men in his community.
