Pheobe Ho
Pheobe is headspace National Youth Advisor and passionate advocate, lived experience speaker, and researcher in the area of eating disorders and youth mental health

Pheobe is a passionate mental health advocate, driven by her lived experience of anorexia and bulimia. Born in Singapore where mental health was a taboo topic, this has driven her interest in educating Cultarally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities about mental health. She is now a National Youth Advisor at headspace, having previously been a headspace Youth National Reference Group member, and the University of Western Australia’s 2018 Guild Welfare Officer. She continues to be pro-active in promoting positive wellbeing in various mental health roles spanning advocacy, support, and research through developing policies, running events and campaigns, and speaking, on both local and national stages. Pheobe hopes to use the Fellowship to continue growing her skills in advocacy and training. She hopes to use these skills to influence positive change in the Australian community, particularly for the inclusion of consumer voice, and in the prevention of eating disorders. Pheobe is an aspiring clinical psychologist, and is currently doing her Honours thesis on eating disorder prevention.
