Psychologist with the Australian Defence Force
James has been a psychologist in the Australian Defence Force for 16 years. His roles have included the delivery of psychological services to individual members, small teams, and large groups, across the garrison and operational environments. He currently leads a small team developing mental health policy and programs for delivery in Defence, specifically the Defence suicide prevention program. His role, as well as his professional and personal experiences of service, has significantly informed his understanding of the issues for the veteran community.
James is looking forward to the mentorship and networking opportunities provided by the Fellowship and hopes to positively influence and significantly enhance these partnerships for the betterment of the veteran community.
