Police Officer with the South Australia Police
Kelly is a police officer with South Australia Police Force and honours candidate at the University of South Australia. She has been a police officer for 13 years working in both the United Kingdom and South Australia in leadership roles that include: safer schools officer in England, and as Officer in Charge of the remote SA town of Andamooka.
Kelly is committed to improving mental health outcomes for both the community and other emergency responders. Through the Fellowship, her vision is to look more deeply at the interface between contemporary policing and mental health in society. At a personal level, the Fellowship will allow her to reflect on her own behaviour and abilities and expand her knowledge. She hopes to contribute to the improvement in person-centred approaches to mental health within the wider community.
