Health researcher with a strong interest in mental health and wellbeing, focusing on the impact of the social determinants of health
Dannielle is a health researcher and educator in the area of health promotion and health sciences. Her research focuses on the physical and psychological health and wellbeing of carers. Her public health background has contributed to a strong interest in the impact of the social determinants of health on mental health and wellbeing. Dannielle is a member of the South Australian Mental Health Commission’s Community Advisory Committee. She applied for the Fellowship in anticipation that participation would provide a unique opportunity to learn from experts in the field of mental health and well-being; to create a network of like-minded colleagues; to provide exposure to mental health issues as they impact diverse population groups; and to enhance her current knowledge of mental health issues and pathways to management and recovery.
