Public Health practitioner with an interest in knowledge transition, practice change and co-design within youth mental health services
Hayden is a passionate healthcare professional specialising in child and adolescent mental health. Hayden currently works as the Youth Mental Health Lead for South Eastern Melbourne Primary Health Network. His work history includes community engagement, research and health promotion roles, youth suicide postvention consultancy and project management. Hayden's goal is to bridge gaps between traditionally siloed sectors and services, and to incorporate the perspectives and lived experience of children, young people and their families to improve service design, regional planning and responsiveness to community need. Hayden sees the Fellowship as a unique opportunity to refine his leadership practices and learn from the diverse perspectives of his cohort and mentors within the program.
