Response to the Consultation Draft NSQHS Standards user guide for acute and community mental health services - November 2021

The Commission supports the development of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards user guide for acute and community mental health services and its intent to provide enhanced safety and quality assurance for consumers and carers.

The Commission is strongly committed to improving engagement and participation of people with lived experience, their families and other support people. We affirm the right of all people to participate in decisions that affect their care and to determine the conditions that enable them to live contributing lives.
