It is with great sadness that we advise you of the untimely death of Commissioner Jackie Crowe who passed away on Saturday, 21 October 2017.

Jackie was appointed as a Commissioner at the time the National Mental Health Commission was established in 2012.

She has been an outstanding advocate for consumers and carers and for better mental health and suicide prevention services, and has made an exceptional contribution to mental health reform over many years.

Jackie was held in the highest regard by all who knew her.

Our thoughts and prayers are with her family at this time.
