Last week we said farewell to our Chief Executive Officer, Dr Peggy Brown AO.

The Chair, Mrs Lucy Brogden said “under Peggy’s leadership, the Commission has remained a trusted adviser to government and a genuine advocate for the mental health sector.

I would like to thank Peggy for the important contribution she has made to our organisation and the mental health sector. Her authentic leadership, expertise and dedication to improving the lives of those living with a mental illness, their families and support people has been valued by all of us.”

I am pleased to announce that our Deputy CEO, Ms Maureen Lewis, has been appointed interim CEO of the Commission.
