Monitoring and Reporting Framework on Mental Health and Suicide Prevention
The Commission continues to undertake national independent monitoring and reporting on mental health and suicide prevention. By highlighting the system activities that affect mental health and suicide prevention in Australia, we hope to inform policy and practice to make a positive change in the mental health and wellbeing of all Australians.
We engaged Nous Group to advise the Commission on the best approach to guide our monitoring and reporting role. We worked closely with Nous to consult with our key stakeholders around Australia and to seek input from consumers and carers, service providers, policy and decision makers about Australia’s monitoring and reporting on mental health and suicide prevention.
The final report 'Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Monitoring and Reporting Framework' from Nous Group is available for download below.
Consultation
We also conducted a targeted consultation with the National Mental Health Consumer and Carer Forum. The Reporting Framework Forum Summary can be downloaded.
