National Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Agreement 2023-2024 Year 2 Annual National Progress Report

The Commission has developed the 2023-2024 (Year 2) Annual National Progress Report under the National Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Agreement (the Agreement) at the request of the parties to the Agreement.

The report informs the Australian community about the progress governments are making to implement the outputs and initiatives outlined in the Agreement in the 2023-2024 reporting period (1 July 2023 to 30 June 2024).

The parties to the Agreement provide the primary source of information for the Annual National Progress Report, as per the reporting arrangements under the Agreement. Delays in the completion of these reports by the parties impacted the timely finalisation of the Year 2 report. Working groups also provide input for inclusion in the Annual National Progress Report.
