#GettingThroughThisTogether: Supporting our mental health during COVID-19
Practical tips to stay connected and mentally well during this challenging time.
Together with mental health organisations, experts and leaders, the Commission has developed #GettingThroughThisTogether – a national conversation sharing practical tips and support for the mental health and wellbeing of all Australians as COVID-19 continues.
About #GettingThroughThisTogether
We have all been affected by the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic in different ways and to varying degrees, with some jurisdictions now experiencing increased restrictions. When we know how difficult something is, it can be harder the second time around.
The longevity of COVID-19, the fatigue that many are experiencing, and the impact of uncertainty on our mental health and wellbeing is a reality for all Australians – and our mental health is just as important as our physical health.
That is why we have launched #GettingThroughThisTogether to acknowledge the stressors and difficulties of COVID-19 and provide simple and practical tips to support Australians’ mental wellbeing.
We will all need a little extra support during this time, so let’s be kind, stay connected, check in with each other, and seek professional support when we need it.
Watch and Share
We encourage you to embrace the global call of #GettingThroughThisTogether and join the national online conversation by watching, following, and sharing the practical tips.
Together, we can create strong, connected communities while maintaining physical distance. We are #GettingThroughThisTogether.
